Some brightly burning, some dark and cold There is a Spirit who brings fire Ignites a candle and makes His home.
Carry your candle, run to the darkness Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn Hold out your candle for all to see it
We are a family whose hearts are blazing So let's raise our candles and light up the sky Praying to our Father, in the name of Jesus Make us a beacon in darkest times.
Carry your candle, run to the darkness Seek out the helpless, deceived and poor Hold out your candle for all to see it Take your candle, and go light your world.
(I'm surprised that people have been really supportive overall)
The area that I visited with World Vision in February is available for chosen, I would love to get some of these kids sponsored!
I have two kids from this area, I am happy that it's now available for sponsorship. That means some of the children that we met there, can be sponsored, and they don't have to spend all their time carrying water multiple times a day!
Clean water, food, education and child protection from traffickers and child labor are some of the problems these children face. Sponsorship would really change their life!
They really want to learn, they are so bright!
Please join me in sponsoring a child from there!

Top section of a painting I did over the summer of the countless number of children in need in this area of Cambodia!
All of them beautiful and bright! 🌺
Often we want to be able to see into the future. We say “How will the next year be for me? Where will I be five or ten years from now?” There are no answers to these questions. Mostly we have just enough light to see the next step: what we have to do the coming hour or the following day.
The art of living is to enjoy what we can see and not complain about what remains in the dark. When we are able to take the next step that follows, with the trust that we will have enough light for the step that follows, we can walk through life with joy and be surprised at how far we go. Let’s rejoice in the little light we carry and not ask for the great beam that would take all shadows away.

“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left. “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these
